Community & Family
Born and raised in Cedar City, Utah, Dr. Brian married his high school sweetheart, Sharla. They have four children and 13 grandchildren. He treasures family, faith, and the privilege of practicing orthodontics alongside his son, Dr. Brandon Graf. As a young missionary, Brian served in the Japan Fukuoka Mission. In 2021, Sharla and Brian fulfilled a lifelong dream of serving a mission together. They were ecstatic when they received their mission call to the Japan Fukuoka Mission. This was one of the greatest joys of their lives. Upon returning home, Dr. Brian Graf returned to practice, this time alongside his son, Brandon.

Dr. Brian Graf has served families throughout Utah County for more than 30 years, helping generations of patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. His commitment to exceptional orthodontic care began with advanced specialty training at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health in Rochester, New York, a renowned program emphasizing clinical excellence and the treatment of complex orthodontic cases.
In 1994, Dr. Brian founded Graf Orthodontics in Provo with a vision of creating a practice centered on exceptional care, lasting relationships, and treating every patient like family. Throughout his career, he has also served as the lead orthodontist for the Cleft and Craniofacial Institute of Utah, providing specialized care for patients with complex craniofacial needs.
Dr. Brian is known for his meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to achieving the best possible finished result. He brings that same level of thoughtfulness, precision, and care to every patient, regardless of the complexity of their treatment.
Education & Training
Brigham Young University
Dr. Brian Graf got his undergraduate degrees in Music and Chemistry from Brigham Young University. His oldest son was born during college, and on the weekends his job was as a firefighter throughout the West Coast.
Oregon Health Sciences University
Dr. Brian Graf received his DMD in Portland, Oregon, at OHSU. His only daughter was born while he was in dental school, and he and Sharla cherish the memories made in the Pacific Northwest. He graduated from dental school summa cum laude.
Eastman Institute of Oral Health at University of Rochester
Dr. Brian Graf received his orthodontic training in upstate New York at one of the best residency programs in the country. His training focused on traditional orthodontics as well as advanced care in cleft and craniofacial orthodontic treatment. His research in residency focused on cleft lip and palate formation.
